You are going to the 5th European Zebrafish PI Meeting in Trento, can you list the most important reasons to participate in this conference?

The most important reason to participate is so that you can network with others in the field: by setting up collaborations and meeting new colleagues.

In addition, we can present our own work and learn from others and exchange science as well as practical information.

Did you find the “Travel with Tecniplast” a useful initiative?

It was a very useful initiative. The tour was fantastic and transportation to and from the meeting was very practical. Tecniplast treated us very well.

Is it the first time you had the chance to visit Tecniplast headquarter?

Yes. It is incredible to see the investments! From R&D to production, following LEAN organization. Fantastic.

Are you using Tecniplast Aquatic Solutions products? If so, could you please indicate which ones?

Yes, we have a stand-alone rack, which we use as quarantine for our fish.

Have you perceived the added value Tecniplast offers in terms of product, processes, research, partnership and support?

Yes, it is evident that Tecniplast is a customer-friendly company that listens to customers’ needs  and comes up with innovative solutions.

Did you feel Tecniplast payoff “Innovation through passion” visiting the different facilities?

Yes, it was evident that all people we interacted with are passionate about their work and are striving to come up with innovative solutions.

What was the most interesting aspect of the factory tour (quality, production, molds design, technical department, assembly area)?

The assembly area was very interesting, because it was really quite different. It is not every day that we get to see large equipment at work, which was very impressive. The notion that Tecniplast controls the entire  production line from design to mold manufacture to production and quality control was interesting as well.

Will you suggest to any of your colleague such an experience?

Definitely. In fact, I have already advertised this to several colleagues.

TP is certified ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 in Designing, production, sales and service. Do you think they are important sustainable advantages for you as a user?

I was not aware Tecniplast is ISO9001 and ISO14001 certified before the visit. During the visit I had the opportunity to understand better these certifications covering all industrial activities at 360° from design to manufacturing, Assembling,  packaging and Service. This is one of the most complete and clear certification I have ever seen in the industry.

Are you aware Tecniplast organizes an Annual International Zebrafish Husbandry Course?

Yes. The Zebrafish Husbandry Course is one of the most successful events in the Industry.
