DVC® Obtained the Certificate of Registration and added sustainable competitive advantage

We are more than delighted to announce that our revolutionary DVC® system as obtained the “Certificate of Registration” from the European Union Intellectual Property Office.

The European Union Intellectual Property Office administers the EU Trade Mark and Design rights. These rights complement national intellectual property (IP) ones and are linked to international IP systems. Since 2012, EUIPO has been responsible for the EU Observatory on the Infringement of Intellectual Property Rights and the Orphan Works Database.

The innovative technology of Tecniplast DVC® system has been verified by the many patents the system has obtained throughout the world (from Japan to China, from Europe to USA); today we can show our innovative intellectual competitive advantage which will sustain the DVC® system sales growth, which is already above budget.

We worked together to ensure that IP rights were defended properly, and the Office immediately identified our competitive advantages.

We know that Innovative businesses are increasingly exposed to dishonest practices aimed at misappropriating trade secrets, such as theft, unauthorized copying, economic espionage or the breach of confidentiality requirements, whether from within or from outside of the Union. Recent developments, such as globalization, increased outsourcing, longer supply chains, and the increased use of information and communication technology contribute to increasing the risk of those practices.

Therefore, the only solution for a global company such as Tecniplast is to play by the rules on the protection against the unlawful acquisition, use and disclosure of trade secrets. How? Obtaining the Certificate of Registration to ensure the availability of civil redress against the unlawful acquisition, use and disclosure of trade secrets.
