A Great Success for the Tecniplast Group
The 15th International Sales and Marketing Meeting (ISMM), held on April 14–15, 2026 at Tecniplast Headquarters in Buguggiate and Casale Litta, concluded with outstanding success, bringing together more than 120 participants from nearly every corner of the world.
The event confirmed ISMM as a key moment for sharing vision, innovation, and strategy across the Tecniplast Group global network. Over two intensive days, attendees explored the future of Laboratory Animal Science (LAS), focusing on automation, digitalization, sustainability, and integrated workflows designed to support the vivarium of tomorrow.
The main theme of this year’s edition - “Automation Loop: Unlocking New Opportunities” - guided a rich programme of plenary sessions and hands-on workshops. Discussions covered the evolution of automated vivarium operations, DVC® digital platforms, robotics and AGVs, advanced washing systems, air handling innovations, auto watering systems, aquatic solutions, and the growing role of data-driven facility management.
Among the highlights were the presentations dedicated to Tecniplast’s Automation Loop ecosystem, showing how automation, sustainability, and intelligent data integration are reshaping modern animal facilities. Real-world case studies demonstrated the operational and scientific impact of these technologies in the field.
Participants also had the opportunity to experience interactive workshops hosted both at Tecniplast and IWT facilities. Sessions included live demonstrations of DVC® workflows, Voyager AGVs, Tritone XS, washing technologies, laminar flow innovations, and immersive project engineering tools for facility design and layout development.
The event also emphasized the importance of sustainability, branding, and long-term strategic evolution. From energy-efficient solutions to digital transformation and unified communication strategies, ISMM 2026 highlighted Tecniplast Group’s commitment to driving innovation while strengthening trust and partnerships across the global scientific community.
Beyond the technical content, ISMM 2026 was an important occasion for networking, collaboration, and team building. The Gala Dinner and the Pizza Party at IWT created valuable moments for informal exchange among colleagues and partners from different countries and divisions.
With the participation of professionals from Europe, North America, Asia, Latin America, and many other regions, ISMM 2026 truly reflected the international spirit and growing global reach of the Tecniplast Group.
