Impact instead of items

Donations instead of gifts – this guiding principle has defined Tecniplast Germany for many years. While many companies focus on giveaways or one-off holiday presents, we consciously invest in sustainable initiatives that create long-term impact – for people, for animals, for our environment, and ultimately for our shared future.

Between 2020 and 2022, we supported the children’s home St. Alban at Lake Ammersee. Thanks to our joint contribution, important projects could be realised: new playground equipment, therapeutic activities, and a safe environment where children can simply be children. The photos from that time – such as the newly built adventure playground – show how much joy true engagement can bring.

In 2023 and 2024, we shifted our focus beyond national borders. Together with the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation (BOS), we supported the reforestation of the rainforest – the threatened habitat of the orangutans.
The Christmas cards of those years show the impressive landscapes of Borneo, as well as a small yet meaningful detail: a young tree planted in our name. A symbol of sustainability taking root in the most literal sense.

In 2025, our commitment returns to our immediate community: we are supporting TSV Hohenpeißenberg and its valuable youth and sports programmes, which provide children and teenagers with access to physical activity, social connection, and a healthy environment to grow in. Responsibility often begins close to home – and that is exactly where we want to make a difference this year.

Whether globally or locally, our donations follow one consistent idea: sustainable action has a greater impact than any gift that is quickly forgotten.
We want to create impact that lasts. For us, our environment, and our future.

2020–2022: St. Alban

“Thanks to our donation, a new adventure playground could be built at the St. Alban children’s home – a sustainable place for play, movement, and community.”

2023: Rainforest in Borneo (Christmas Cards 2023 & 2024)

“Reforestation areas in Mawas: Our BOS donations of recent years support the protection of the rainforest – habitat of orangutans and a globally significant CO₂ reservoir.”

2024: Our Tree in Borneo

“A tree for Tecniplast Germany – planted in 2024 as part of our BOS sponsorship.”

2025: Strengthening the Community

“Community, engagement, and local perspectives: With this year’s donation, we support the youth and sports programmes of TSV Hohenpeißenberg – a strong foundation for movement, togetherness, and a healthy future.”
