Covid-19 Statement

Considering the current situation and concern regarding COVID-19, we at Tecniplast would like to update you and all our valued clients of the necessary steps we are undertaking within our organisation.

First and foremost, our priority is to the protection of our staff, to this end we have set up a cross functional Covid-19 response team including members of the senior management group and headed up by Andy Humes, Tecniplast UK Managing Director.

The team have already reviewed improvements for staff protection, this includes introduction of disinfection processes on entry and exit of various areas of the building and a daily cleaning of workstations. SOP’s have also been modified in connection with the interaction with visiting delivery drivers, specifically those from outside of the UK.

Travel to and from our Italian headquarters has been restricted, it has now been four complete weeks since any of our teams have been out of the UK and we currently have a total ban on visitors from the manufacturing factory.

Moving forward we have reviewed the possibilities for staff working from home. This mode of working is already well proven through our sales, project management and service teams, and we have now reviewed practicalities for remaining office-based staff. There are of course some roles where it is essential to be in the workplace, but by transferring all who can perform through remote working we can reduce risks to those remaining. The main intention being to allow continuance of service to you, our clients. As of 17th March, a communication has gone out to all staff that where they can work from home they should.

Importantly, we are pleased to report that currently we have no confirmed cases of Covid-19 among our workforce.

Please be assured, our focus, dedication, and support are unwavering as we navigate these unique times.

We hope you and your loved ones remain safe and healthy.

Andy Humes
