This new version of the TP Environmental Report collects all the initiatives and progress towards sustainability and circular economy, through various chapters, articles and case studies which best describe the work conducted by Tecniplast.

Tecniplast Top Management gave a strong mandate and a roadmap to the Organization to act on climate change. 9001 and 14001 Certifications and the Ecodesign process according to ISO 14006:2020 are just a few of the many initiatives we have taken.

Tecniplast became the first global player to adopt global aspirational goals for CO2 emissions and a “basket of measures” to progress towards these goals over several years, through necessary actions, incentivizing innovative production organization and technologies, implementing more efficient operations, facilitating the use of sustainable alternative energy sources.

On reading the Environmental Report you can see that these achievements have increasingly involved Tecniplast’s traditional partners, suppliers and cooperation with customers.

The Environmental Report shows how Tecniplast with its reputation as an innovative player, is creating new rules and new approaches in designing, producing and distributing products in the Lab Animal Industry, setting a precedent globally at ww level, defining a leadership role in limiting and reducing emissions. 

Last but not least, a holistic TP approach to greener lab Animal Facility operations is emerging in the Environmental Report, on a life-cycle basis, supporting our customers to get the best option to maximize the sustainability at Facility level too. This approach demonstrates the ability of Tecniplast to think of a green future and put it into being.

A simple number tells the story: we have more than 70 customers who have adopted our old cages recycling project!
